Woolwich Central is run day to day by a team of church members we call a Diaconate, each member of the Diaconate is a deacon. Deacons are elected annually by the church meeting.

The Rev. Ruth McCaughren is our pastor. Ruth studied business and religious studies at Canterbury Christ Church College before working for the YMCA in Walthamstow, East London. Having worked in fundraising, PR and development, Ruth trained for ministry at Regent's Park College, Oxford. Ruth was called to our church as sole pastor in September 2007.
